How to Make a Painful Ending Into a Bright Beginning

Dearest hearts there are no words we can offer that will make endings feel good because endings often feel as though you’ve failed. However, if you stop focusing on what has ended and place your attention on what’s been gained, you’ll gift to yourselves an easier transition from ending to beginning.

If you’re able to see a new awareness, then you’ve successfully completed the situation

Begin by reclassifying endings. Instead of declaring, “This relationship, situation, way of being has ended and therefore I have failed.” Say instead, “Even though this has ended, I have grown because of the experience.” Now take a moment to remember yourself as you were and compare it to how you are now. Take a moment to appreciate all that you have learned, gained, and recognized about yourself and your approach to life. If you’re able to see a new awareness, then you’ve successfully completed the situation.

Stop measuring your progress by the number of mistakes made and begin understanding that getting it wrong is often a necessary part of getting it right

Being aware doesn’t mean you handled the situation perfectly all of the time. You may have been manipulated, tricked, or agreed to do something that wasn’t in alignment with your highest good, let it go. Stop measuring your progress by the number of mistakes made and begin understanding that getting it wrong is often a necessary part of getting it right. Growth is never about always moving in an upward trajectory. Growth happens when you’re willing to expand, honor, and offer to yourself the possibility of becoming more.

A negative, painful pattern repeating is not an indicator that you should have known better, it’s a request for help. Your psyche is asking you to get help to break out of this toxic behavior

Some of you may be saying, “I didn’t progress at all. This situation took me backward. I knew better but I still got used.” To that statement, we say, “If you had truly known better you would have done better.” Therefore, a negative, painful pattern repeating is not an indicator that you should have known better, it’s a request for help. Your psyche is asking you to get help to break out of this toxic behavior. The growth you achieved, in this case, is not to have overcome a former debilitating pattern but rather to become aware that that pattern exists and is causing unnecessary hardship. Awareness is the first point of change. Therefore, your growth from this situation is your newfound ability to see and understand there’s a problem.

If you insist you’ve failed when you repeated a toxic cycle then you’ve just made it harder to break free

If you allow yourself to win by recognizing your growth, you’ll make it easier to continue winning. If you insist you’ve failed when you repeated a toxic cycle then you’ve just made it harder to break free. By seeing yourself as a failure, you’re condemning yourself to the failure space. You’re invoking the law of attraction to bring you more reasons to feel bad, call yourself a failure, and face painful endings. At the same time, you’ve made it impossible to accept bright beginnings.

You are the deciding factor during every part of your life. If at any time you want to change the circumstances you’re experiencing you must begin by changing the internal dialogue, the emotional resonance, and your willingness to be in alignment with your Divine source.

To begin something with hope for the future, you much believe it’s possible for things to improve, you must see yourself as worthy of deserving good things, and you much allow yourself to receive the support you need to succeed. If you’re committed to seeing yourself as a failure, you’ll make sure to self-sabotage until that vision becomes your reality. You are the deciding factor during every part of your life. If at any time you want to change the circumstances you’re experiencing you must begin by changing the internal dialogue, the emotional resonance, and your willingness to be in alignment with your Divine source. Anything is possible but you must be in energetic agreement with it before it can become part of your awareness.

It’s inevitable that things will end, whether those endings become doorways to new opportunities is up to you

This means you’re the determining factor. It’s not other people or what’s happened to you that decides the outcome, it’s how you choose to interact with what is that matters. It’s inevitable that things will end, whether those endings become doorways to new opportunities is up to you. An ending says, “This is complete.” It does not say, “You are a failure.” You decide whether complete means you’re ready for something new and you’re proud of all that you’ve learned or whether you say, “I failed again, maybe it’s time to stop trying.”

Recognize it’s your energetic contribution that makes a difference

A new beginning is available at the start of each day. It comes as a blank slate waiting for you to decide how you want to influence it. Conversely, the end of every day does not have to include pain, worry, fear, or anxiety. Recognize it’s your energetic contribution that makes a difference. If you want a bright beginning honor yourself by looking for what’s right and focusing on everything that brings you joy. If you want a painful ending that will make you feel like a failure refuse to see how much you’ve grown and how worthy you are of receiving.

Allow yourself to learn from your experiences, to recognize what you’ve done well and what you’d like to change

There’s no outside force, nothing is out to get you, and there’s no reason to fear you’re a failure. Endings can be painful, life can hurt but the pain is not meant to destroy you. Allow yourself to learn from your experiences, to recognize what you’ve done well and what you’d like to change. Once you recognize you have completed but not failed, you’ll be able to open to new possibilities and bright beginnings.
